Big Pines RV Park is a quiet RV Park on the Fish Hook River in Park Rapids, Minnesota.

Large, private RV sites, each with full hook-ups among a towering Norway pine forest. Enjoy fishing, swimming, canoeing, and kayaking on the sandy, clear waters of the Fish Hook River. Take in the natural surroundings with a riverside picnic or scenic hike in the woods. Or simply relax around the campfire or in our newly remodeled clubhouse and game room.

Bike the scenic Heartland Trail, take in the sights and shops of the quaint town of Park Rapids, and explore the numerous lakes the area has to offer. Big Pines Resort has the ideal northern Minnesota location. It offers the tranquility of being up north and yet is conveniently located within the city limits of Park Rapids close to all area attractions, shopping, lakes, and golf courses. And, if you don’t feel like cooking, the best restaurants in Park Rapids are just a few blocks away!

We have many new upgrades including new, private, single-occupant bathrooms that are the nicest of any campground in Minnesota. Come for the camping and pamper yourself, too!

Beautiful campground! We stayed 2 nights on our way up to Voyageurs NP. Very large sites give you the feeling of privacy. Big trees everywhere and plenty of shade - never put the awning out. Great firepits! Hosts were great and helped me park the rig (always appreciated!) Easy drive to Itasca State Park for a day trip. Highly Recommend!

The sites are well maintained and spacious. The bathroom/ showers are clean and individual. Great play area, walking path to a small river and fish cleaning area. We saw several deer walking in the Campground.
